"Faces of Survivors: Voices Reclaimed" is an educational tool shown in schools and community spaces. The target audience is both those who are intimately touched by these issues and those who believe that sexual violence is not part of their reality.
The project aims to show both the scope of sexual violence and the diversity of those affected; provide positive images of healing for other survivors; and offer participants a safe, creative space for exploration, expression, and empowerment.
Since 2001 the photos have been exhibited at more than 30 venues, and covered in various news sources, including the Boston Herald and Bay Windows... Read what they have had to say!
